WITH BEAM TV
The FAB Awards has teamed up with BEAM.TV to allow submission of television entries online via BEAM.TV, as an alternative to the traditional process of submitting beta sp tapes to FAB. Entering your work through BEAM.TV is a simple and effective way to enter The FAB Awards. To enter your work through BEAM.TV, please follow these simple steps:
Go to ENTRY FORM section on http://www.fab-awards.com and follow the link to the BEAM.TV entry form. Enter your work and provide your entry information.
When submitting television entries you may either submit via
OR by sending tapes to The FAB Awards.
If you have selected to enter your television work through BEAM TV, please click the link to to upload your entries - this link will appear at the Entry Form section.
IF YOU ALREADY USE BEAM.TV:
you can submit your work directly from your archive or attach and upload the file following the encoding specifications - an MPEG2 File. For specific encoding standards please visit http://www.beam.tv and click on Encoding Standards.
IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY USE BEAM.TV:
you will incur a one time fee from BEAM.TV to upload each spot to your permanent archive at BEAM.TV and to enter your spots into The FAB Awards. Please visit
http://www.beam.tv and click on rates to review fees for uploading and storing/archiving your work with BEAM.TV. The cost will inevitably be less than preparing and shipping duplicate tapes. You will then have permanent access to the records youÕve created in your BEAM.TV archive. (Attach and upload the file following the encoding specifications - an MPEG2 File. For specific encoding standards please visit http://www.beam.tv and click on Encoding Standards.) If you choose to enter your work on beta sp, please complete your entry forms and send them as normal to the FAB Award office together with your tapes and proof of payment.
If you enter through BEAM.TV, please
1) either complete the online entry forms at BEAM.TV or
2) send your entry forms to The FAB Awards office.
